RULES FOR PONDS Applies to P1 Boatswains , P2 Byrons Point, P3 Monks Rest in general
NO FLY FISHING
All anglers must carry some fish care antiseptic spray.
No braided mainline.
No artificial Baits, this includes plastic, foam, or cork. No homemade Tiger Nuts (only shop bought).
Barbless hooks only.
Size 6 Maximum . No double hook rigs permitted.
Fish MUST be held over a cradle or mat for photographs and unhooking. DO NOT stand with fish for photographs, always kneel down over the mat/cradle.
2 rod limit ONLY No rods left unattended I.e no more than 10 metres away.
No Bait Boats
Do not light any fires or BBQs, stoves are ok
Radios must be on low volume.
No Rod Pods or Alarms On Pond 2 (Byrons)
Pegs must be left clean and tidy and all rubbish taken away.
Please use a large Carp / Barbel Landing net on Boatswains pond 1 and a normal coarse net to hand if possible
Fish must not be retained in a sling, weigh straight away and return the fish.
Barbel must be allowed to regain strength before letting it go, keep in the landing net and in the water until it has strength.
No pulling vegetation out without permission from the fishery.
If you see any dead or unwell fish please report.
Anglers day ticket guests are the responsibility of the Ticket holder, any misbehaviour the Holder will be held accountable.
When driving down the lane to fishery please respect the cottages,10mph speed limit.
Tickets for guests must be obtained before fishing.
Day tickets can be obtained from the tackle shop, or contact management.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult
Local Pheasant shoot every other Wednesday Oct 1st - Feb 1st, fishing is quite safe and allowed.

Pond 4 Poets Corner Specimen Rules
Rods must have a minimum test curve of 2lb. Minimum line strength 12lb.
No braided mainline.
No artificial Baits, this includes plastic, foam, cork or any other non-edible material
Micro barbed or barbless hooks only.
Size 4 to 10 only. No double hook rigs permitted.
Fish MUST be held over a cradle or mat for photographs and unhooking. DO NOT stand with fish for photographs, always knee down over mat/cradle.
Mats must have sides, NO Flat only Mats
2 rod limit.
No rods left unattended I.e. no more than 10 metres away.
Do not light any fires or BBQs
No alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave if caught and membership taken away with no refund.
Pegs must be left clean and tidy and all rubbish taken away.
No landing nets under 42 inch allowed

Max 3kg of Pellets or Groundbaits per session ONLY
No Trout Pellets
No Floating Bread - Dog Biscuits Floating pellets OK
No Boilies on Pond 2 Byrons

General Fishery Rules apply.
All safety signs & information signs must be read and accepted prior to entering the fishery – by nature there is deep water and slip/trip hazards on this complex.
Due to water borne disease (weils etc) Please take care with hygiene and cover all cuts.
All cars to be parked in the car park at own risk, no risk is accepted by JDFM however caused whether to people cars or belongings.
Dogs on lead only, please clean up.
All litter must go home , the management reserves the right to check all bait, tackle and associated equipment while is on the complex, including before during and after matches.
